A report from the Women's Philanthropy Institute at the Center on Philanthopy at Indiana University claims that older women give 89% more to charity than men.
Women Give 2012 is the third in a series of reports that offers deeper insight into the gender differences affecting philanthropy. Older women, born in the Baby Boomer generation, are more likely to give and give more to charity than their male counterparts.
